In a move to standardize the level of play and alleviate the financial burden on clubs, the federation’s equipment distribution—part of its ongoing commitment to professionalizing the YouZou Elite Basketball Championship—ensures that every team from the Seniors to the Youth levels has the tools to compete at the highest standard.
Supporting the “Orange Ball” Ecosystem
The distribution ceremony, held as a precursor to the first league groupings in Yaoundé and Douala, was more than just a donation; it was a statement of intent. By providing official match-grade balls, FECABASKET is ensuring that training sessions across the country mirror the intensity and quality of the Elite One matches seen at the “Palais des Sports” and the Gymnasium of “College de Salle”.
Standardization: All teams now play with the same high-tier equipment, ensuring fair play and consistent performance metrics.
